What to Post Here

This story contains some pretty bizarre plot elements. The meta-plot of Veiled Age has begun to rear its head more clearly… or more confusingly. So I’d love to know your speculations about where you think the story is going and what you’re most curious about.

Aside from that, most of the usual questions apply.

  1. What were your favorite moments?
  2. How did the puzzle/exploration elements go for you?
  3. How could I improve a particular scene, in your opinion?
  4. Where did you want more agency? (new choice ideas)
  5. Where did you want your character’s race/sex/stats to be more relevant?

I really like how this interlude delves into some particularly out-there, metaphysical themes, which most fantasy stories don’t normally try and approach. The ending in particular concludes on a note that I found to be very thought-provoking, and which might have very interesting and exotic consequences going forward. Especially since the viewpoint character never actually realizes that they’ve crossed over into another dimension entirely, and even goes on into the next episode oblivious that anything has changed.
